Wave Interactions

Interference
When the waves in interact they superimpose on each other.

Reflection
A reflection of a wave is when it bounces off the surface or material.

Refraction
The light refracts as it passes through a material, its direction may change but it will still pass throught the material.

Diffraction
Diffraction is the bending and spreading of a wave, for example a light wave bending around a corner.
